Monopoly’s in RI must pay a living wage of two adults with a child to its employees. which at its current standard is 27.79 an hour as a minimum. they will also pay the taxes of all its employees. these monopolies include but are not limited to-

Walmart, Supermarkets, Amazon, Home Depot,

All other chain store companies will pay a living wage for one person. We will also be reducing what full-time day is. a full day will be considered 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week. at no point is there more than 12 hours in a day. These changes will not apply to locally owned stores.

Companies will no longer have the ability to require background checks. this is a form of oppressing a person trying to better their life from previous mistakes. a network needs to be created to protect all workers in Rhode Island, not just certain unions.
